If we assume that the blocks are stacked without any glue, then this is the configuration, with one red, one green, and three blue.
If we DO allow the blocks to be glued together, then we don't need one of the blue supporting blocks, and the figure looks like this:
2 blue blocks are kept below next to each other but the right one pushed backwards.. Red is placed above the left hand side blue, while the green is placed behind the red (green does not touch the ground)
ReplyDeleteYes! That works if the blocks are glued together. If we are assuming that the blocks are placed on a table without glue, then we need one extra blue block to support the green.
